1. Who we are

2. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number.
- Content you give us: your CV, career stories, answers and voice interviews (including recordings and transcripts), photos, and your edits and approvals of drafts.
- Connected social accounts: if you connect LinkedIn, X, Facebook or Instagram, we receive access tokens that let us publish the posts you approve.
- Payment information: payments are handled by our payment processors. We do not store your full card details.
- Usage and technical data: pages visited, device and browser information and IP address, collected through cookies and Google Analytics.
3. How we use your data
- To build your profile and content themes, and to draft posts and images for you.
- To schedule and publish content to your connected accounts, only with your approval.
- To message you by WhatsApp and email about your account, drafts, billing and support.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To maintain security, prevent misuse, and improve K-Steps.
4. AI processing
To generate drafts, we send the content you provide to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI and Anthropic). They process it to return the result to us. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers needed to run K-Steps: hosting and database providers, AI providers, email and messaging providers (including WhatsApp/Meta), payment processors, analytics (Google Analytics), and the social platforms you choose to connect. We may also disclose data where required by law.
6. Social media access
You can disconnect any social account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. We store connection tokens in encrypted form, and we only publish content you have approved.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep the site working and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on.
8. Security
We use access controls and encryption of social access tokens to protect your data. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your data, we will delete it within 30 days of your request, except where we must keep certain records by law.
10. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and similar laws that may apply to you, you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, and you may withdraw your consent or object to processing. To exercise these rights, email info@k-steps.com.
